15kV main switch:

• Load switch 15kV 600A;
  • Stored energy mechanism (MEE)
  • Provision for padlock
• Interlock Kirk-key, between the door and the switch, to prevent opening under voltage
• Interlock Kirk-key, between circuit breaker and switch
• Recessed handles to prevent breakage during transport
• Removable protection grid, to secure the changing of fuses
• Window (safety glass) for displaying the status of the switch contacts

15kV Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB):

• Maximum voltage: 15kV
• Partial discharge level: 95k VBIL
• Short circuit current: 29kA
• Control module: 120VAC
• 1x SEL751A relay protection (751001ACA3A70861C31)
• 3x phase CTs 400:5
• 1x CT ‘’zero sequence’’ 50:5

• The circuit breaker will trip if there is a problem with the MALT relay (SE-330) (to comply with CSA M421)

• Nema 2 “gasketed”
• Drip-proof housing designed for mining use
• Cabinet cleaned with sandblasting and gray epoxy paint
• Standard replacement parts available and easy to replace (doors, accessories, etc.)
